Making Shisha

Recommended Posts

I was watching Good Eats and he made a thick pomegranate syrup, it was like molasses, and I was wandering if you could use that to make shisha (including glycerin)... good idea or bad?

Alton Brown is the shizzzzz....IDK about pomegranate, something tells me that if they haven't come up with it yet there's a reason...but give it a go, start a new trend

Let me also add that Alton Brown is an idiot, and his writers are idiots.

They did an episode on homebrewing beer - and got it ALL wrong. terminology - procedures - it was a TRAIN WRECK watching it.

I no longer trust that show.

Woah Woah woah. OK Maybe they messed up that episode, an episode which I haven't even seen, but Alton Brown is a beast regardless.

Dude is an innovator, a monster, and the only person I really enjoy watching on Food Network.

My friend snagged some peppermint chocolate syrup from starbuck's that they use in lattes. Mixed with tangiers maraschino cherry was wonderful. Very rich chocolate undertones. Burned off quickly though. So we mixed a small batch with a tiny amount of glycerin to thicken it and it smoked much longer and much stronger. So maybe your idea's worth a try.
