Jeff_T
QUOTE (timmediahOU @ Aug 21 2008, 06:47 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>currently i am smoking tangiers brambleberry and enjoying a nice big chalice of Delirium Tremens...I am better than you tonightI was just going to recommend Delerium Tremens , esp. with more fruity shisha. Another Belgian I really like is Unibroue La Fin du Monde also great with fruit shishas.
cypherkk
sam adams seasonal. Especially Winter lager with a flower or spicy shisha and summer ale with most others. Cherry wheat would go wonderfull with black or chocolate cherry.

Sherv
My friend and I discovered that Mojo IPA (my favorite IPA EVER) pairs extremely well with Tangiers nectarine. It's awesome to see so many people here enjoy some great beers (Chimay, Delerium, Dogfish Head, etc)! Any homebrewers? I brewed up a Hoegaarden clone which didn't pair up well with anything Edited August 22, 2008 by Sherv
mdl
For some reason, drinking beer with any flavor shisha ruins the taste of the beer. Liquor seems to work much better for my taste buds.
Pilgrim
If anyone ever wants to make a Belgian beer trip, they're always welcome to crash at my place! I live in Leuven, home of Stella Artois, and I have a lot of friends in the city of Hoegaarden, which is just 20 miles from Leuven.. But then again, Belgium is so small that everything is nearby.. When I first began drinking (I abstained till I was 23 for personal reasons) I was working with a Belgian post-doc from Namur. As soon as he found out that I was to start trying beer he whisked me away to his apartment and began to teach me about the different trappists and the different breweries in Belgium by having a sampling of various beers. My all-time favorite beer is Liefmans Goudenband (http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/liefmans-goudenband/4663/). Man, so so so delicious, I think I'll actually go pick up a bottle for tonight! But yeah, I'm hoping to travel to France, The Netherlands, and Belgium this winter, beware of your offer as I may just take you up on it
TizaNabi
Don't know where I saw this and I couldn't find a link only a photo to a company in Egypt that makes a beer flavoured shisha.Al-Mustafa.com did have a website at least 4 years ago, but not now. I saw a photo of the package. I think it was sold in Merry Ole London.
