pimpy
Does anyone know a website that I can order those really big round coals from? I've tried three kings, and a bunch of others, and they all seem like the same size - very small.I much prefer that ones that cover most of the bowl, but I haven't had much luck finding them. Joseph
I got the quicklight golden coals on www.hookah-shisha.com, and they cover nearly the whole bowl. Also, the don't affect the taste at all. They are an excellent quicklight, but I am going to switch to naturals, just to see what they are like
pimpy
Those are the ones I just got actually. The ones I'm looking for were even bigger than that. Didn't need two per bowl.
Joseph
Well, what I do is use 1 coal at a time, and it takes to coals to get through 1 bowl. Is that what you mean? I do this when i am smoking both al waha and romman tobacco. Is that what you do, or do you use two coals at once?
pimpy
Two coals at once. One I usually either have to sqeeze in or tilt it to get it to fit.
Joseph
Wow, if i use even 1 and a quarter of those coals I get funky smolke from burning tobacco.
pimpy
The smoke burns awesome for me with two. Very thick, nice smoke. When the fire starts dying down, I throw another on top. I used to have some that I only needed one for the whole bowl.

Joseph
Why don't you ask the people who order them at the church where they get them?
dizzing
3 kings comes in two sizes. you want the larger one. many websites sell both sizes, just look for the differences in mm listed.
pimpy
3 kings comes in two sizes. you want the larger one. many websites sell both sizes, just look for the differences in mm listed.
Ah. That's the problem. I had bought 3 kings before and got the big ones. Then, I ordered them again, and got small. So I thought maybe I was mistaken and tried 3 queens. Now I know! Thanks!Does anyone else make the big ones?
pimpy
7 mm doesn't seem like that much of a difference though. I thought the ones I had were like a good 1/3-1/2 bigger than the normal size.Maybe I'm just wrong tho.
yashman19
Well, adding 7mm to the diameter more than likely does add a third to the coal. I know what your talking about though, and 33mm and 40mm is the only sizes they come in. I don't think Golden makes different size quicklights, so its gotta be 3Kings.
