jeans
http://www.hookahnites.com/mixtobacco.html Whew, and a pretty penny just to have it made into a bowl! I'll try to check it out next time I'm there.
ioannisds
Jesus Christ I have to open up a hookah bar. $28 to make a bowl out of a pineapple? And at $12 a regular bowl ($15 for Fumari), they are making a killing as it is. And $1.50 for ice? Do I have to pay for the air in the base too? Reminds me of a bar my brother went to. They only had the hookahs outside (probably no permits or something), and it was freezin' ass cold. They had space heaters available for their customers... for $5 extra. He told them to eat it. I mean, I know there is overhead, a lease to pay, utilities, etc. But damn, squeeze out every last nickel you can why don't you. I think people like this are really taking advantage of what has become a huge fad, and then what? What happens when people stop coming because the new cool thing to do changes? Or customers discover that a roll of Three Kings shouldn't really cost $5? Really, there is a shop around the corner from me that sells them for that much. Ok, I'll stop ranting now . jeans
Yeah, and that's the cheapest place in downtown San Jose. $19+tax (comes with ice) at this other place, but still. Move over here and I'll gladly open a hookah lounge with you.
Joseph
Wow, i have never had to pay that much at a hookah bar. One i used to go to that was trendy and catered to the college crows was like 9 dollars for first bowl, half-price for refill. The other had mainly old middle eastern patrons was 7 dollars. I would never smoke at a hookah bar if it was that expensive. I would rather smoke my own hookah in the woods with my friends than at a bar anyways. Sonthert
I charge $10. Yeah, we did some of this and that....You need to use steel wool at the bottom to hold up the tobacco and foil in the hole to hold it up....Oh Yash included some links, I'm sure they have the info in them. Wish I had more time to check into it.
