NUBBS
like a 1/3 piece about a minute. If you get all 4 sides red its all good.

Victim026
get one side rolling nicely and then just use a hair dryer to get it the rest of the way.

mattathayde
it works, when i tried it the first time i used exoticas it seemed to light the out sides much faster than the insides and i had some taste still. i would suggest trying to heat it from a little ways back first then hit it full on.i was using mapp gas not propane so it was hotter and that may have contributed to a little taste at first. i find its not ideal over all but will work perfectly fine for out and about-matt
MechAnt
Like previously mentioned, the coals will light up quickly but exoticas need to be COMPLETELY lit even inside or else they will add a taste.
Bulldog_916
I lit my Exoticas like this before I got a stove. What a world of difference the stove makes. Make sure to go at the Exoticas for about 4 mins a piece with the torch to make sure they are completely lit. Uses a lot of gas but limits the taste element.
