Dirt Water. Ew.?

ok i set up my small shisha yesterday..put the flavour in and put the tin foil on and put the water in the base and everything..then burnt the coal and put it on top..when i started smoking it..the water in the base gradually turned to a light dirty brown..is this supposed to happen..im confused...=S..am i doing something wrong?

It's just the juices from the tobacco seeping down into the water. No big deal

no, you`re not doing anything wrong. the water turns a little brown because of the molasses that run from the bowl into the base.
just make sure you clean your hookah thoroughly and you`ll be fine.

by the way..why do non tobacco flavours taste like crap?! lol

because most non-tobacco flavors use ground-up sugar cane (soex for example). and apparently smoking sugar cane with molasses is not as good as tobacoo with molasses.

im assuming your talking about Brands like Soex. Its because they are made from sugar cane and sugar doesnt work well with heat. Thats why it tastes like crap.
