Any Way Of Using Egyptian Style Bowls On Syrian Heads?

Hey guys, new here but I thought I would dive into the sea of knowledge you guys have.

I have myself a Syrian hookah and so currently, I can only use Syrian style bowls i.e. ones with a male connection. Now I want to be able
to use a phunnel bowl but I have no idea how I'm going to be able to do that. Any help is much appreciated.

hmmmm If your pipe is a male connection than you can use a phunnel. It seems like you are saying you are saying that the pipe has a female connection. If that is the case than it would be helpful to know what kind of hookah you have. I believe there are bowl adapters however I think those only work on hookahs that have a screw on design (the top can be screwed off). Hope my info helps but as I noted before which one has the male connection?

you can always trying jury-rigging something up, but i dunno what else to say.

I don't know if the threads are compatable but MYA sells adapters

go to home depot or you local hardware store and poke around in the plumbing section.

I ended up buying a brass nipple I think it was 3/4" OD. I can post a pic after I get home.

Just take the grommets with you and see what fits. And don't forget, electrical tape is your best friend in a case like this.

sometimes(OFTEN) electrical tape has PVC elements and would be horrible to put near something hot while breathing in

I made a custom piece to help adapt the Egyptian heads to the female Syrian openings..it worked for like 1 week then it worse out lol..it had to eventually, I made it from foil and a lot of Heavy Duty foil.

The bowl has the male connection i.e it goes into the head.

These might work as my pipe is one of those that has separate pieces that screw together, but seeing as I am in England I don't believe it will be worth the price It costs to ship it. I guess I'll go down to a hardware one day store to see what I can conjure up.
