Would You Let Someone Off The Street Take A Puff Of Your Hookah?

This weekend i was smoking outside my hotel downtown Toronto.

Alot of people would come up and ask me to take a hit.

I always say no.

My philosophy is I wouldn't share a drink with a stranger off the street so why would i share my hookah.

If I had a disposable mouthpiece then maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe.

Just want to know what the Hookah Forum members would do.

I would judge on how clean they looked if they looked alright I would let them smoke especially if they were a cute girl

I have done so in the past. I served tea to people in public in the glasses i was using as well. If you're antsy about it you can always wipe Hookah and tea @ night in the park, attracts all kinds of crazies.

Shit I eat donuts out of the trash, I eat pizza that fell on the floor, some people are way too germaphobic. However, If a crusty old crust infested sweaty pit stained stinky person come wandering up to you throwing feces mixed with body fluids, blowing their nose hacking up blood and phlegm all over the place while barfing in a plastic bag and eating it with a spoon, and they ask if they may have a hookah wiht you, DO NOT LET THEM.

I hookahed on the street a while ago and i let this stranger have a hit because he walked out of a tobacco store with some nakhla and marveled at our hookah.

Just use common sense and don't be a hookah whore and you will not get sick, (maybe).

Yes, but only with a new mouthtip (and if they look somewhat clean, at least). I usually have extras, so that's not a problem.

Only if I just happened to have a disposable mouthpiece. When I went to Ozzfest last year, the 2nd Stage manager was getting random chicks to kiss and make-out while he filmed it and broadcasted it on their jumbotron big screen thingy. I said to my friend that that was rather hot, but the "that is so unhygienic" factor totally negated the hotness. I mean, would you french kiss a total stranger? I wouldn't... I guess the moral of that pointless story is that I would not let a stranger take a puff from my hookah.

Hell I'm in college and not only do I let anyone that wants a hit have one, most of the time I will randomly invite people off the streets in campus to try and raise awareness about hookah. I view hookah as a very social thing and am always willing to let people try it. Most of the time they are amazed by the flavor, and I have amassed a big group that meets outside our dorm every night.
