Sherv Posted August 29, 2008 Share Posted August 29, 2008 I tried once on my ceramic stovetop and gave up after a few minute when it was clearly not heating the coal properly. Definitely get a coil heater I also made a wide tube of tinfoil to catch the bits of coal which crackle and snap off the main piece, it's a bitch to clean those up!
