Ok, my first post was kinda harsh, and so I came back to re-do my answer.

Check out the review section for both tobacco and vendors. Many people have done the work to review the brands and vendors and place that information up for you to search.

Read, read and read some more. This place has lots of valuable info if you search around a little.

Jez if were not here to help eachother out why are we here? although it IS a huge help to read through the forum, you'll get loads of great info.

I'd go with Al Fakher for starters, mint is supposed to be great along with watermelon and golden eskandarandi apple(which I've had and completely agree). A nice range of flavors to get you started. It's not heat sensitive so you won't have as many heat management issues as you might with other tobaccos. You could also try some Layalina raspberry or double apple. Or check out the Lucid division of Tangiers as it has the Tangiers flavors without the typical problems many newer smokers come across using Tangiers.

I would say MNH is a great place to order from as they have good prices and great service also consider getting a phunnel bowl imo necessary to the best hookah experience you can achieve. A small size is more than enough for one or two people. You might want to consider upgrading to a razan or nammor hose as the pull will be way easier and they are washable.

Sorry no clue on the adapter front...

Welcome to the forum! And no problem asking questions man it never hurts to ask.

Enjoy the smoking!

I certainly understand you want the quick and easy answer, however the gist of it is that we all have our own opinions of things. Some people love Romman, others think it sucks. Some people drool on Tangiers, other people think it's just average. But the thing about the reviews is that you will get not only a rating, but a bit on how much smoke it gave off, what the smells were like, etc.

When you post a question here about it, you'll get about 1000 different one line answers, which probably doesn't help quite as much.

And I do apologize for being a little harsh the first time around. Welcome to the forums!
