How Do You Wash A Hose?

Recommended Posts

Depends on if you have a 'washable' hose or not.

If you don't know that it's for sure washable - don't bother washing it as it's likely to rust on you. Since new hoses can be as cheap as like $6, it might be worth it to invest in a few new hoses knowing they'll go bad in a few months, or spend the $22-25 on a Razan or Nammor.

If it is washable, I would imagine that a thorough rinse of hot water, then maybe a rinse of something acidic like lemon juice/water mixed, then rinsed REALLY good afterwards to that no lemon taste remains.

If its washable, I'd suggest running it through with lemon juice followed by a mix of baking soda and water. Baking soda will do 2 things: neutralize the lemon juice and absorb any smells left behind, including the lemon juice smell.

After that run it through with some more just plain hot water, let it dry, then smoke up!

It's not washable if it isn't a nammor or razan, or the AF washable hose.

If it's none of those, I'd suggest making your own hose instead of buying another one.

Check out the How to Funhouse section of the forum and search "DIY Wide Hose Repair"

To make a new washable air tight hose it will run you no more than 5 dollars.

Just make sure you hold on to the ends to your hose.

Like most others said, if you're not sure if its washable, it probably isnt... In that case I'd invest in a Nammor/Razan hose, or you can blow out they hose you have with an air compressor
