jmexx
Hey folks, I haven't been around the boards the last few days because I'm in on vacation in Vancouver. I'll try to catch up here with some threads but first I thought I'd share some pictures. My friend sent me photos from when we went to our local hookah lounge. I played around with them a tad while I was on the plane, I was quite bored.I'm the bald guy. They're not the best O's we've done but it'll give you guys a nice idea. yashman19
Nice pictures! I always thought it would be cool to somehow get one of those large slabs that they have at Cold Stone or Marble Slap ice cream shops, you know what I'm talking about right? They're these thick, slabs of marble that is somehow chilled, so chilled infact that ice forms on it. They use the slabs to mash/mix icecream together on. Can you imagine how well the smoke would hover over that stuff? It already hovers well on glass tables, but on a ice slab, it would stay there forever. Also, if you could somehow rig up one of these things, you could just place the hookah base right on top of it to keep cold Man, wish I worked at a cold stone cremery. You know I'd bring in the hookah when the boss isn't around
jmexx
Hahaha, you're so random Yash. Thanks for the compliments though!I know what you're talking about, it's almost like the actual glass bar with freezers and such underneath. You creative you!Jon
Attila
wow. amazing O-s... my ones, no matter how hard i try, are always flying upwards as soon as they leave my mouth... do i need anything besides practice to achive success in this matter? i also like that mystic river thingy, i'll try it next time, as well as blowing the smoke into a cup / glass / something. Do these tricks require anything else than the capability to blow smoke really smoothly and slowly?
jmexx
What they really require is the ability to control the smoke. It sounds easy and stupid but If I smoke and keep the smoke in my mouth with my mouth open, I can do almost any trick properly. The O's takes practice and a method that you can work on.The mystic river and smoke in the cup stuff is just playing with smoke in your mouth. It also depends on how thick the smoke is.Jon

jeans
Has anyone ever tried blowing into bubbles? Y'know, the little soapy things you used to play with when you were little? I think that'd be so cool when you pop them!

jmexx
Thanks, uselessdreamer! And jeans, yes! Except, instead of using those little plastic things they give you, we tried a paper towel roll. Yup! a paper towel roll! The only problem with it was ending the bubbles, which came with time and practice.Give it a try, it's crazy fun!Jon
