Hi all,

I have this hookah

When ever i try to smoke it, it is always harsh. I have the water level to the first bubble above the spherical part of the vase. I would appreciate any help.

use less coal, pack the shisha looser, move the coals around more often, dont hit it too often and make sure the stem is in the water about 3/4" to 1"

I pack the shisha really loose and only put 2 squares of Japanese charcoal on it. I guess i will try that water level. How much is that relative to the big gold line at the top of the sphere? Edited September 1, 2008 by nbehar

I suppose you're saying it's at that level? Fill your bowl all the way to the top with a little sticking out and also make sure your hose is tight fitted.

i think he was saying he filled it to the bottom of that line which could be the problem

i personally dont have that hookah and from the picture i cant tell you where to fill it to but it seems like billy knows his shit so try it out

Where do you have the coals at on the bowl? Keep them on the outside edges... the middle = harsh smoke. Also, try less heat

I fill it to where billy is saying sometimes. I think the issue is with the coal placement. Thanks guys. I will keep you posted on the results.
