Sonthert
In terms of health benefits I dont think it is any healthier. The smoke is cooler and actually i think it cuts down on the flavor because of the coldness in your throat. At least in my experience thats what i have found.
I think it should, theoretically increase the amount of flavor coming through, because you are reducing the ability of the water to solvate chemicals in the flavors, not to mention the amount of nicotine. Sonthert
That would qualify as hot...Boiling water will, as far as I can guess, "fold" back over the solubility line and become more like room temperature water. Remember, nicotine has a maximum solubility in water at 60C. Also boiling water should remove almost all of the flavor. Maybe most of the "smoke", too. Try it! You might shatter a jar, so be careful. Increase the temperature in the jar slowly. Add progressively hotter water until you think its close to boiling, and then add your boiling water.
