Frequent Lurker Takes Plunge Into Membership!

Hello everyone,

I've already posted a review, but an introduction makes a good second post, too.

I am an 18-year-old college freshman studying to be a journalist here in Louisiana, where I was born and raised. I bought a pipe on my 18th birthday, and since then I have been on a downward spiral into the world of tobacco. My first experience with a hookah was on a camping trip, and my friend brought one along. The flavor was a mixed fruit of some sort, and while now I know that the flavor was, at best, decent, at the time it was all it took to make me realize that the hookah was something special. After a brief stint with cigars, I decided to purchase a hookah for myself, and my QT and I have been inseparable ever since. I'm still very new to the hookah (I've only been 18 for a few months), but as the days go by I am getting better at packing bowls and managing heat. Every day I get more flavor with less burning, and every day I love the hookah more and more.

Since hookah smoking is such a complicated task, I have turned to the internet for all of my questions, and it didn't take long before I stumbled across this forum. I began to browse the reviews in search of the best flavors, and I was also looking for flavors that weren't so good so I wouldn't waste my money on utter tripe. Since then I have been browsing around the general discussion areas to get a good feel for the atmosphere here. Since I have now registered, you guys have obviously passed my Quality Assurance test , and I have decided to try my best to become a part of the community. I look forward to getting to know all of you better, and I hope that you aren't too proud to take a new hookah fan under your collective wing.

Welcome to hookah forum, there is TONS of great info here, beware though...you might end up getting pulled in too deep and end up with 8kgs of tobacco and 19 KMs!
