fedaykin
so anyway got some starbuzz in the other day. The first bowl was amazing but today I tried smoking a few more and they haven't been like that first one. Normal or am I doing something wrong? MechAnt
Try using a little less heat. Sometimes that helps. SB is a somewhat low heat tobacco.
Apets22
SB is my favorite tobacco. The biggest thing is that it CANT be touching the foil and has to be packed somewhat loosely. If you give more details on whats wrong maybe we can help more. fedaykin
Not really sure what else I can say, I'm using a regular bowl and I always pack it so that it will not touch the foil. I may be packing it too tightly though, I will try packing it looser next time. Its really strange, I just opened this tobacco a couple of days ago. I got Orange, Rose and Tropical Fruit. I smoked a bowl of Orange and Rose the day I got it, and both of those were the best bowls I've ever had. The flavor was the richest I've ever tasted and they last about an hour and a half each, the flavor was still not bad at all when we finished even though all the shisha was charred and black. But now today I tried smoking a bowl of all three flavors, all three were very disappointing, really not any flavor for any of them, if there was flavor it was very light. It was disappointing to say the least. I am using 33mm Golden charcoal, If I use a single coal I find the smoke is somewhat light and with two there is good smoke but still either way the flavor was very poor today. I just did a cleaning on the whole hookah with baking soda and vinegar so tommorow afternoon I will try again and see what results I get. Any suggestions on foil/charcoal set up I should be using for SB?

Apets22
I think that getting a phunnel would solve most of your problems. Its close to the best investment you could make. Also check the water, if its really really cold it can sometimes kill the flavor. And make sure you stir it up in the tin before you pack it. fedaykin
i assume that the phunnel bowl would help out by keeping the juices in the bowl rather than running down the stem? thanks for all the advice guys, I will take them into account tommorow and see the results
flick92
you assumption is correct about the phunnel bowl. It really is a great investment and it give a good quality smoke and hand crafted!!!
racemyghost
after many experiments, the egyptian bowl works just as great as the phunnel bowl with starbuzz.starbuzz is juicy, but its also sticky. So you shouldnt really have any problems with it running down the bowl/stem.
JillyIsJustKidding
Does the smoke lack in flavor?Or, is the pull too tight and you are hardly getting smoke? It means you packed your bowls too tightly.BTW, how is the SB Orange? Is it a strong orange (hope so since all the orange shishas I've tried are way too weak) and does it taste realistic? The SB orange is very very good, at least that first time I smoked it. It was the best orange flavor I had tried so far.
