pullingteeth
right now i'm going to guess that you have quicklights (or coals that light themselves with a coating of magnesium) and some of the better quicklights are 3 kings.most people are going to recommend natural coals. to light them you either need a torch or a coil burner like on an older stove top. and good naturals are coco nara's and exoticas. i haven't used exoticas i've only used cocos.it is all trial and error. keep trying different things until you find something you like and then stick with it. SamAsh
good to hear, I figured that a lot of it is personal preference but its good to hear some suggestions. Thanks guys
Stuie
It's all preference SamAsh.i bought the grapes for a friend last Christmas. It's not the best smoke I have ever had, but it's pretty good for such a small hookah. On Coals, I prefer Coconara coals, I use Golden Quicklights when I travel. Got some exoticas coming. Was not a big fan of Silver Japanese coals. but thats my 2 cents.
SamAsh
Thanks for all the input guys, I know the grape hookah, or the grenade as I call it, isnt the best one out there but it does the job and is easy to store away. I only got ten coals with my purchase and I know I need to get more soon. Do you guys ever order coals online or usually go to the shops/stores? Thanks again for all the info. skimo281
I usually buy all my stuff online but that's because I can't find a place around here that I can find what I want. I would look around for shops in your area and read some reviews about the online vendors to just find something you personally like. Welcome to to the forum btw.
