Experimented With Some Tea..

So last night I was really in the mood for some tea so I was looking through the kitchen and came across some zenzo tea packs. Not sure where my mom got them from but I figured I'd give them a try. It was late so I decided on some white tea (not sure what kind it was), which was pretty good. I figured why not make some for the morning but this time I grabbed 2 packs of zenzo orange pekoe tea packs. I had it in the past but it was a strong flavor so I decided to experiment. I opend come canned oranges and drained the juice into a cup added a tbsp sugar and some honey. I let the tea bags soak over night in this in the fridge. Well I come home from my first class today and thought why not go ahead and try it out. I added the mix along with a cup of water into a bowl and heated it up right before it came to a boil. I gotta say this is the best tea I've ever had. The orange really complimented the tea and the little sugar gave it just enough sweetness but not to much. I thought I'd post about it maybe find out if any of you make your own teas. After this cup I have to start experimenting more, probably with loose leaf with fresh herbs and fruits.

Thanks to this board, I have recently started drinking Tea. I have an extremlyyyyy low tolerance for caffine (If I drink a Red Bull Im talking a mile a minute and bouncing off of the walls and I also cant sleep. So the smaller amount in Tea is perfect to wake me up in the morning and keep me going without messing up my sleep schedule.

I have really only drank Lipton green teas. Theyre fairly generic and I figured itd be a good starter, but Im really starting to like it.

Are there any others I should try?

I order from TeaGschwendner, which has domestic shops in Chicago. Check 'em out if you're into loose tea - I've never seen a similar selection or quality.
