HookahDude831
that flavor has always been great for me, sounds like you have a packing/heat management issue
NJE03
That flavor has always treat me well. I think you put too much coals.
mushrat
either too much heat or packing the bowl too tight and there is no air flow through the shisha.how much coa is the least you have put on?
barrenwizard
It depends. I've use 4 coals with spaces between them in X and Y Axis. Than 3 coals in a 3-Point Triangular form, than 2 coals. All of which still doesn't help. And the holes range from between big to tiny and it still is harsh. As in sever irritation to throat.I've got a MARCH 2008 Batch.

Apets22
Try stacking two on top of each other, you get a little more heat but not enough to burn it. Or use 4 halves and put more on as you need it, or less.
Rani
I agree with everyone you've got heat issues going on. I only use one 3 kings or golden with AF and it smokes flawlessly. But if I happen to be in a hurry and get too close to the foil, then yeah, I get harsh for the first 2/3s of the session. Give it more room under the foil and pack loosely. Basically what Mush said!'Rani
JillyIsJustKidding
I know what exactly you are talking about. Idk if anyone else has had this prob on this forum...But the new AF cut is causing a lot of smoking issues.I had a tub of AF grenadine..It wasn't harsh, but it irritated my throat...Like it was WAY too strong. My only solution is to pack it tighter in a phunnel (not push down hard, put slightly in the bowl). That way, the smoke isn't too irritating or strong and it is a lot more smoother.Hope this helps!

Like ZAGHLOUL. Serious guys. It worries me. I even did that and use 2 coals. There's something weird about it.
