Help Me Think Of A Name!

Recommended Posts

Hey all -

So I finally have waded my way through the shit that is local tobacco laws near me, have found a location, and I am now ready to register for my EIN number. I need to come up with a business name before I do so though. I'm trying to think of a good name but haven't had any "amazing" ideas yet. Please feel free to contribute your idea for the name, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'll most likely be registering the name some point tonight or tommorrow... so there is only a limited time frame. Thanks again!

Perhaps a little description of what kind of a hookah lounge you're thinking of....more traditional, or less so?

Having said that...the only thing I could come with in ten seconds or less was "Cloud Nine"...but that might not be such a good idea.

[edit]

I do realize you did in fact post that you're not going for super-traditional. My bad. Edited by natgnat

I may need some phonetic spelling help from our M E brothers and sisters here, but I always thought

FAKHEM

would make a great name for a lounge...it means "Coal" or "Coals" and has that nice double entendre sound to it much like F**K Em!

Thanks for all the comments and ideas everyone. The twilight caterpillar could be interesting, and my current personal favorite is "Caterpillar Lounge." I'll have to play around with ideas today a bit more at work. If anyone else has any ideas, please post them, helps big time!

Not Caterpillar...it's cliche

You think so? Ive never heard of a lounge with that name

I have once, but it closed. It's just everyone already associated Carroll's Caterpillar with Hookah smoking. That's why it seems cliche to me.

Since a lot of people don't know what "Hookah" is, I figured associating the lounge with something a lot of people are familiar with would benefit the business as well as helping them understand what hookah was.

I agree egan. Caterpillar has some connotations of hookah. Personally, I would never think The Caterpillar lounge was a bar or restaurant. Twilight, Starlight, even Havana all are ambiguous.

I think that middle eastern words are more cliche then anything. And those could very easily be a middle eastern restaurant.
