PipeSmokeMcGee
when i was cleaning my hookah the other day, i accidentally lost the ball bearing from the purge valve! i need to replace it and i'm wondering what to do. i know home depot/lowes sells bearings, but not individually. i've also seen hookah bearings online for $.50 each. however, on top of the $.50 you've probably got at least $4.00 in shipping. it is a 17" junior modern hookah from social smoke. what do you guys think?BEN
pavlakos_politakos
either get a pack from lowes or home depot or if you have any BBs lying around just use one of those.thats what i did.or just get some aluminum foil and roll it up into a small ball. Sariél
My local mom&pop hardware store had them. 1/4" stainless steel bearings. Some people have also had good luck with airsoft rubber pelletts. A standard BB would be too small for mine, your milage may vary.

Sonthert
I use slingshot balls. They have a flat face which I find helps prevent muck buildup and stickage.

MR Bubble
This will teach you to notice small things in life: Like the birds chirping in the morning when the ground is freshly wet in dew, the cool snap the air has at 5 AM, PEOPLE REPLACING BALL BEARING PACKS ON MACHINERY! Next time you see an old ball bearing pack being thrown out by someone, grab it. Just break the race opern wit ha hammer and chisel (screw driver if you must) and you will have balls!!
