Contemplating The Plunge From Lucid To Og

Recommended Posts

I've been smoking Lucid for a few months now and I am a Tangiers fanboy now. AF was up there but I've been having all sorts of issue with it. From Pineapple that tasted as if it had been sprinkled with cayenne pepper to shisha that smells like plastic, to possibly being affected by the red dye. The issue is Lucid doesn't have that many flavors and I'm thinking of making a pretty big purchase imo (1.5 kilos, i usually smoke alone) in the next couple of weeks. I want to try some of the OG flavors but gotta admit I'm a little intimidated by the buzz factor. For those that have smoked both, or any other washed shisha compared to OG tangiers. How big a difference is it?

personally I dont know, I just bought Blue Gumball Tangiers so I am going to give that a try I cant see the buzz factor being any different from Nakhla because they are the same in nicotine . Nakhla did how ever knock me on my ass in a good way for about every 20 seconds till I got the hose again (smoking with about 5 or 6 people)

Nakhla I am pretty sure is an unwashed shisha at .5% nicotine same as tangiers.

Original Tangiers is a Kick in the Teeth! I LOVE IT! That's why I smoke it and Nakhla!

I also notice with anything I smoke if I have it on the coffee table and I lay down on the couch and smoke the buzz is much less.

How often do you smoke? I mainly smoke af and nakhla and smoke a few bowls a day and dont have a problem with the buzz tangiers gives. I'd just suggest that you dont smoke on an empty stomach and have something to drink and you should be fine. I think I get used the a Tangiers buzz more than anything faster

I smoke almost everyday, haven't smoked since sunday cuz my throat was starting to feel funny. I didn't want to make it worse. I usually smoke after dinner so the empty stomach thing won't be an issue.

Nakhla is indeed 0.5% (not counting their washed Mizo line), but Tangiers is actually 0.3% nicotine.

I thought the Lucid line was .3% and the Tangiers regular was .5%

I had been smoking lucid horchata and cocoa for a while and wanted to see what it was like to go balls out with the tangiers regular. I was nervous about it...but I smoke frequently enough to where I didn't really get a noticeable buzz. You'll be fine. Enjoy all the additional flavors you get to experience. The downside is all the careful acclimation and packing you have to do. It's worth it though.

You dont have anything to worry about. Tangiers Original doesnt hit me hard unless I havent smoked it in weeks. Even then, its just a mellow buzz. I dont buzz from anything else anymore. AF doesnt do it. Nakhla is the same as Tangiers.

Enjoy it! You wont pass out! biggrin.gif
