yashman19
Great reviews first and foremost. As for the Al Waha 5Star, I've had 5Star before, and was told by numerous people that 5Star was a fruit cocktail type mix, not bubblegum I've actually had both 5Star and Bubble Gum by Al Waha, and the bubblegum tasted like spearamint, and the 5Star just a fruity concoction. Are you sure you tasted bubblegum? Or was it just a bunch of different fruity flavors mixed? The spearamint flavor tasted like poop by the way
Soup
I did taste bubble gum...like double bubble. People do taste things differently. Who knows, either of us could be right. This is just my opinion, of course.
Sariél
Al Fakher orange Flavour: “Body Shop” orange flavour minus the soap…if that makes any sense at all.
You mean the strip club on Sunset Boulevard? An ex-gf used to dance there. I don't remember it having much of a distinctive smell. Cleaner than most...
Soup
Strip club? No! The Body Shop is a bath and beauty store.
[LB]
Al Fakher two apple Cut: Typical Al Fakher cut. Wetness: Not as wet as the others but delightfully sticky. Smell: Sweet molasses scent with mild anise undertones. Flavour: A cooling sensation on intake with strong anise flavour. I am the only one out of my group that likes it. Oh well…more for me. Smoke: Thick Al Fakher clouds. OVERALL: them: 5.5/10 – too powerful. me: 8/10 – tasty goodness.
i always end up plowing through af double apple alone because none of my friends enjoy the strong licorice taste that tickles your throat. itll lighten up as your tbac ages, and youll taste the apple a little more. Buford
I figured the "body shop" comment was in reference to the smell of orange hand cleaner (like Gojo) that you find at automobile repair shops. Being that those cleaners typically use real citrus oil it may be a close comparison, but I've never smelled the tobacco in question.
great glavin
Great reviews! I got another batch of al fahker cola in yesterday and its totally different then the one i had before (different color and smell, and different packaging) It doesnt smell as strong as the first one but smells better. i think one could be "golden" (the first one) and this one the normal kind in their line-up, thats really my best guess. AW gum i liked at first because no other flavor had a spearmint hint to it, until now. HH sells spearmint and it is awesome, a very strong spearmint flavor and sensation. PipeSmokeMcGee
has anybody tried Al Amier ORANGE or STRAWBERRY? when i bought my hookah, it included two 50gram packs of Al Amir... I got orange and strawberry. The orange seemed to be very harsh, and it didn't even have that much of an orange flavor. The strawberry didn't have very much flavor either. I though Nahkla's strawberry had a more authentic and better strawberry flavor. I've heard a lot of people rave about Al Amir, but I'm not to crazy about it. Did I have bad flavors? Should I try more of their flavors or do any of you guys feel the same? Thanks for listening, BEN

As for AA Strawberry, I was a fan personally. AA doesn't always have majorly strong flavors, but I enjoy most that I smoke. Its personal preferance my friend. Not everyone is going to like every flavor out there, so don't feel bad that you didn't like something a lot of others do.
Joseph
Well, i have said it before, but a great orange is Fumari. Its the only orange i have had, so i can't compare it to much, but it was great.

Brad
I posted a review a while back on Al Fakher Cola saying it had a salty taste (which I still believe was there). Since then I've gotten another tub of it and there was no hint of saltiness. I'm blaming it on humidity (any thoughts Tangiers?). Either that or whoever packaged it was eating french fries over my box.
Sonthert
Yeah, some companies are erratic in their use of flavor or have defects in their manufacturing that allow variances in the amount of flavor. Some companies reduce the amount or quality of flavor over time to make more money. Al Waha did this about 5 years ago. Humidity could be an issue, too. Most likely. I would actually imagine that it was a contamination issue, whatever you smoked last time...and then the cola, based on a "salty" flavor.
