sunsetsmoker
Hey, So I know a few of you on here use the natural wood coals you get at supermarkets verses what is meant just for smoking hookahs. I myself use these aswell but the brand i usually use is no where to be found and all the other ones say carbon monoxide warning, death etc.. all that good stuff. So my question is does your natural coal have this warning on it? I dont get why these natural coals have this warning. I am almost 100% these are safe, they are mixture of 3 different woods, 100% natural and no additives. It's just i never used a charcoal with this warning on it. Either way im smoking with them just pure curiosity if you all have that warning.peace,-j

GreatPigHookah
I don't think it means anything as to wether or not there is a CO warning. All charcoal produces CO, no matter what type...those intended for use in grills/cooking usually have the CO warning because a small grill can produce CO levels in excess of 800ppm in a matter of minutes...that level can kill a person in about an hour and a half. Codename067
Thats only normal. Just as GPH mentioned. All you have to do is to make sure that the coals are 100% DONE -NO Black parts on the coal-
