j3oomerang
this is what i use along with a green scrub pad for tough spots: http://www.dawn-dish.com/en_US/powerdissolver.doi get off whatever i can with warm water and my hands then apply the power dissovler and scrub (after dipping the pad in hot water) it off after 10min. Never had issues with the scalli, ive only had to use this with the rim of the bowl. Im sure the screen is just as bad as the rim of the bowl if not worse.Sweet looking bowls man: youll have to make some new how to videos with your superior smoking techniques, cant wait for mine to come in. BrotherBuford
Glass has a high specific heat so it takes a while to heat up, but once it gets hot it stays that way for a while. I'm not sure how that would affect coal management on the glass screen, as standard metal screens and foil are very thin and have a low specific heat. zachslusser
NOt to jack the thread... Beautiful Bowls but does anyone remember the Glass bowls that smiley made? They had glass screens and i got one and that was a bitch to clean but i broke the bowl so the screen was of no use.. ohh well. but i imagine that glass screen will be just as challenging after the first 5 - 10 smokes. wow though those are very nice. has ne one bought the Collectors edition Jet ?? Santino
I really don't know if I'd trust the collectors edition. The design on it is nice, really clean reversal, but my biggest concern with it is it's just a simple ground glass joint (not sure if it's a 19/22 or a 14/20?)- I'm wondering if because of the stickiness of the juice, if ANY leaks through the bowl, which definitely is possible, if that wouldn't just "glue" the two joints together. Also $100 for that is over priced. Glass-on-glass joints are cheap and easy to fuse. If he was wrapping the whole bowl in the dichroic glass I've seen them using on the mods and tying that in to the reversal, it may be more worth it.Still a big fan of the regular jets though. Only thing that was not glass on glass was my bowl, and MNH is sending me the fix to that problem.

I'm just saying in regards to the bowl specifically that the juice could seal the two joints together, which makes it very easy to break if you don't have a torch to ease the joint apart. Now a 24/40 joint on the hose ports? That's going to be the money shot
