timmah84
Hey guys,So the stock hose that came with my Amoura is a KM Extreme. I'm having some issues keeping it in the hose connector on the hookah, it seems that it is fairly heavy, and anytime i pass the hose, it loosens to the point of it falling out. I tried jamming it deep down (lol). But, that didn't work, same issue.Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe getting a Razan since it may be lighter at the base end.Thanks. *Veritas*
This seems to be a pretty common problem for KM. I wonder if there is a different grommet that you could use so it would hold in more tight to deal with the weight? If you dont mind using a little electric tape you could just tape the hose to the stem for some extra holding power.Or just get the washable hose, its still supposed to smoke very well and you wont have to worry about it rusting on you. I think I will get a washable though.

It fits better, but there isn't the airtight seal around it.
SixPackSunday
i think they meant putting tape around the port/hose to hold it together.... like your taping it together

I highly disagree. Not because I love KMs, but because I have many KMs, and the hose gets passed around MANY times during each session...and the hose stays in place the entire sessionGet some paper towel, get it slightly wet, wrap it around the wooden end of the hose, and then insert the hose. That always gets the job done.
