Woodsytheowl
How will I know if they are the real deal? I talked to the customer service rep about them and he assured me they were but I keep reading about fakes circulating.

vin13
I've ordered a few phunnels from Hookah-shisha and you can be pretty certain that they are legit. H-S is a quality vendor and I believe someone said they get all of their products directly from Tangiers. You shouldn't have anything to worry about. Stuie
Order couple of them from them. Now there are Tangiers Phunnels and "Generic" phunnels which are the Chinese knockoffs. Hope you read the full description when you ordered.
EternalSoil
i dont follow stuie...you had ordered some and they were knockoffs but they are all tangiers now. If he just ordered them they are real tangiers or else they are marketing them as such.

This large Tangiers Phunnel hookah bowl fits all standard hookahs, and is great for enhancing the flavor of your premium shisha tobacco. These Phunnel bowls range from 4 3/4" to 5" in height and are about 3" in diameter. Stuie
Didn't mean to sound like a jerk, but i think the change was made just recently. So people be advised! H-S has BOTH Tangiers and Chinese.
EternalSoil
Ah, you're right, thank you stuie. didnt mean to come off as a dick if you were feeling that.I think that if they are using these new ones, they need to separate them better than a drop down menu

Woodsytheowl
Hm. I'm concerned because after looking at the newly reformatted page for the bowls, the two colors I ordered at the tangier price (12.95) are now listed as generics that sell for ~$8. I should be getting my order in today, so hopefully I'll be able to figure this out. Are the color schemes of the generics easily distinguishable from the tangiers? Cerberus
Quick question, I've been smoking hookah for about 6 months now and looking at the picture of the Chinese and Tangier's phunnels, they both look the same. What is the difference in the two and is it really noticeable while smoking?

Also, if you look at the center hole, you will notice a difference in it. Also, i know that if you flip over a Tangiers phunnel it will be white on the inside (when you first buy it) the others have a earthy tint to them i think.
