Favorite Beverage With Hookah

Recommended Posts

Favorite drink - Water.

Food...hmm. I had a big, crunchy juicy apple that seemed to go with Layalina Watermelon pretty well. Haha. I'm sticking with those answers.

Someday, if I really feel up to it, I'll probably make some of my homemade hummus and try that out for a proper experience.

H2o I keep it simple. Like to enjoy the shisha flav as much as possible and not intermingle tastes too much - and I get dehydrated fast so.....

Same with food, dont really do it. Edited by giant ninja robot

usually water. No food. I've tried beer and that works pretty good. Sam Adam Cherry Wheat while smoking some K-Cherry is pretty good. Leinenkugel Berry Weiss or Summer Shandy are good to drink while smoking fruit flavored shishas.

I went to a lounge once where they required you to order food/drink if you get hookah. I ordered some generic tea (black with sugar) and it tasted really really good with hookah. I can't remember in particular, but I think the hookah was a mix of jasmine and something else. Now I really enjoy drinking tea during my hookah sesh.

Usually I'll have either water or those bottles of Lipton Green tea with citrus with my hookah. I never drink too much though during a session. I'm not really thirsty during a session. My friends enjoy soda with theirs; stuff like Vault/Mellow Yellow/Sprite. I'd imagine that would complement some flavors quite nicely. Too bad I don't drink sodas any more tongue.gif

As for food though, I for some reason get REALLY hungry half way through a session. So any junk food I can get my hands on is fine smile.gif That mostly consists of Rice Krispy Treats, chips, or chicken salad and crackers smile.gif

Same with me, I drink things that are similar to the flavour of shisha I am smoking. For example
AF Cola = I drink Cola
AF Berry = I drink Vimto
AF Grape = Grape Juice etc

If i could, I would drink mountain dew 24 hours a day, but its banned in the UK. I had over ten years ago, i'd love to get some now. Edited by aleemkahn

The UK banned....mountain dew? for real? this is serious?

Do you guys have energy drinks over there? Cuz those are a million times worse and more caffeinated. Wow.

Yeah it got banned like 10 years back. We've got loads of energy drinks, but they've not got alot of Caffeine content in them. We have, monster, Redbull, Rockstar and Lucozade drinks. Man I love the taste of Mountain Dew, it was the best. If I get some now, it will cost me about $30 for 12 cans, which isnt that bad.

EDIT: I think its allowed in the UK, i just ordered 24 cans for £20 from some UK website!!! Wahoo, Can't wait!!! Edited by aleemkahn

Water usually. If it's a cold, gloomy day I make middle-eastern style green tea: Gunpowder green tea + a bit of dry mint + lots of sugar. Great for relaxing after a long day. Also seems to help with the light-headedness (sugar?) Edited by erufiku

Oh, Great Pig,

Great reply.

Single Barrel? On the rocks or in a snifter?

I’m thinking Knob Creek with something Vanilla.

Maker’s Mark perhaps with Chocolate Mint.

What Shisha/combos do you like best with the Bourbon?

I’m a huge bourbon fan with my cigars, never considered it with a hookah. Thanks for the thought!

a good beer. That means no shitty coors light or bud or anything. High quality.
I tend to pair beers with shisha too. A nice pale or wheat ale with the fruity flavors and a dark, stout beer with the heavier flavors. For instance, Guinness with al waha cappuchino. Or Hoegaarden with Nakhla peach. Edited by agentscot
