Peaches09
so i got a new a hookah about a week ago, 33" inch, 6-hose, no-name egyptian. it's big, it's green, and it hits great. however, i have not yet been able to remove the hose hub. I contacted the vendor, thehookah.com, and they recommended that i soak it overnight in warm/hot water to loosen things up. Ok, check. Still won't budge. So i'm looking for suggestions that could work. I've been considering wd-40, but i have my concerns about residual chemicals and that i probably don't want to smoke those. So any ideas?
Stuie
hmmm...guessing it's a rotator? haven't seen any more than 4 on a non rotator.Well soaking may be the best bet. One of the downsides to rotators.Soaking it with some dawn should work. If you use WD-40 soak and it should come off or you can light and burn it off...well maybe not...go with the soaking. I've been looking for a 6 hose hookah for a while, and the only one I've been able to find rotates. Not a selling feature obviously. Unless you've seen another 6 hose hookah that wasn't home made... Hell, if you want to not have a shitty session, you have to spend at least $120 on decent hoses.

K-A-R-P
well the way my rotator came apart I had to have thumb and index finger on fish bowls grommet and then my other hand on the metal part and it just took some man strength to get it to screw off
