jezter6
For those of you with Nammors and Myas - what hose grommets do you use? I have these rubber grommets that came with the hookah, and it doesn't keep the hose tip in very well. I also got this hose/bowl grommet set from HS that came with these plastic grommets that are really long - and they work ok in the regular port, but with the auto-seal, it cant jam all the way in and has trouble keeping the hose in that port. What the hell is up with these hose ports and what do you guys use? I can barely get my hoses to stay in without jamming as hard as I can only to have it slip out 20 times a session. EternalSoil
ok, i lost my original mya grommet a while back and have since been using a piece of plastic tubing that i made my home made hose out of. also, my nammor was too large to fit into my old hookah hose port so i melted the end down a little so its smaller.you might be able to sand it smaller, i would have done this but i was very impatient at the time!good luck with whatever you can come up with. remember electrical tape too.. Stuie
I use the standard mya grommets for the most part. I had trouble at first and from time to time the do fall out on the auto seals, but it's rare. Don't know what to say. I do use the grommets from H-S if they fall out more than once. During a session. I found washing the mya grommets with dawn and letting them air dry clean and help restore them.
[Elmo]
I ended up sanding down the end of my Nammor. I had the same problem before, but now it fits so much better. There's plenty of plastic at the end, so you should be fine to sand away some extra.
