hey guyz

aint bin on ina wile bin working on a website and imstucj on a crucial part! On the membership form i need the details entered to go into a database securely! I've already created the form and got it to email me the details however this isn't secure as the details include credit information i need the details to go into a database.

I've tried reading the tutorials but they are far too complicated for me, is their any chance someone could do this for me? I'll pay or give shisha upto you.

What you need to do is set up SSL so you can connect over HTTPS instead of HTTP. Your coding methods are fine - what you do is secure the pipe between the browser and web server so that you can communicate info however you want. If this is for a public site, you'll definitely need to get a real SSL certificate for your server (it verifies who you are) from a certificate authority. Be warned - these can be expensive! I buy them all the time at work.

Thanks i managed to get it sorted im currently using a shared SSL certificate from my hosting company will get a proper one once my project starts running and im making a bit of money hopefully.
