Hi folks,

Well i've finally decided to take the plunge and buy a hookah. I've been wanting one for quite some time now. I've done a lot of looking around and reading etc.. and have come up with the following order from hookah-shisha.com:

Mya Gyro (1 hose) Hookah (blue "cloisonne" shaft/blue glass base)
Heba Diffuser
Three King Coals Box (10 Rolls) - 33mm
Nakhla 250 g (box) - Cherry
Romman Shisha 250g - Peach

As i said, i'm a newbie at this so i'm not 100% sure if this is everything i need. Can you guys think of anything im missing?
Recommendations/suggestions are welcome. I just want to be sure that my first hookah order is a good one.

You should look into adding a Nammor/Razan hose (exact same thing, different name, but nammor is available through hookah-shisha, razan is avaiable through MNH) to the oder. Im waiting to receive mine in the mail, but there is a GREAT OVERWHELMING response to how much it improves the hookah experience by allowing effortless pulls. 

and go for the Al Fakher Peach, blows Romman out of the water. Edited by surface

IMO opt for AF shisha instead. And perhaps if you're going to get 500g, spread it around a bit (more than 2 flavors) - unless of course you've had those two and like them (not trying to hate on your tastes, just assuming you haven't..tongue.gif)

I'd recommend you grab some coconara natural coals instead of the 3 kings. They are more money but improve the experience dramatically and are so much easier to deal with that quick lights. As for shisha, I demand you add some Al Fakher Mint to that order! If you're ordering from Hookah Shisha, they have a nice package deal with Coconaras and 3 AF tubs if it fits your budget. . Like others have said though, browse through the endless reviews on here and you probably won't be disappointed.

Good luck on the order, you're gonna love it all I'm sure.

I would say grab a KM don't get the diffuser. Buy a phunnel bowl and don't get nakhla or romman just buy some AF. For the Nammor or Razan suggestions I would recommend you get a KM Pro hose from www.thehookah.com I have gone through 3 Nammors and 2 Razans and they have all fallen apart. The KM pro hose on the other hand looks like it will outlast my hookahs.

I would recommend you get AF watermelon or peach.

Mind if I ask where you are located?

I dont have a stove with burners on it anyway so i would need to buy a plugin burner or something. I will probably do this eventually but just want to start off with quick lights. As for the hose upgrade.. now i'm not so sure. I've read a lot of comments that the Nammors don't last very long. I might just stick with the stock hose for now and upgrade later. I will however take another look at the KM hookah's.

voski: Is there any particular KM you recommend? The KM - Ice looked pretty nice and it was a bit cheaper than the gyro too. The price of the gyro was a bit steeper than i was hoping to pay. I just don't want to sacrifice quality so if i have to pay a little more then sobeit. One thing i did like about the Gyro is it comes with a case and seems fairly portable. It could also be expanded to multiple hoses... can you add additional hoses to the KM models? (this isn't a big deal if not) I might also get a funnel bowl for the hookah as they seem to be a pretty good addon.

I live in New Brunswick, Canada so i'm gonna be charged some duty but it will be worth it. From what i can tell, there are no canadian online retailers for hookahs and there not much for retailers within my home town so online is the way to go for me. So i hope to order everything from one site.

voski: one last question... why did you say i should not go for the heba diffuser?

You can easily make your own diffuser, I bought the one from HS and I'm happy with it. It actually comes with two for wide and slender necked bases.

Look at MNHookah.com KM's they have affordable prices and great prices on AF shisha (750g for $25) and coals too! MNH sells the Razan Hoses, I own 2 and love em!

KM's are single hose, I tried to buy an adaptor for mine but it doesn't fit huh.gif

Minnesota is also closer to you than HS (Texas) would be and you may find some nicer shipping prices, check the vendor area for MNH's discount code.

I'd also recommend HC but it seems they are low on their KM selection as of now. I own the Pharonie and I love it, I just posted a ton of pics... Edited by duckhater

Three King Coals Box (10 Rolls) - Switch to Coconaras, it's worth it.
Nakhla 250 g (box) - It's a hit or miss flavor. I love it. Play it safe Get Orange or Mandarin.
Romman Shisha 250g - Peach - Peach is good, but Grab, Good Times, Ivory Coast or Honey Dew Melon

I would also get a Nammor, its worth EVERY CENT!
