Now go use them I thought the exact same thing, I was set on the Bahiya (because the Czech base) or the tri-metal. However George at HC convinced me as this is a "1st gen" tri-metal. The welds are reinforced and it is a heavy stem. He said it was his favorite and I said, what the heck, the man knows what he's talking about. duckhater Posted September 24, 2008 Author Share Posted September 24, 2008 (edited) Here are the smoking pics, it was my first bowl of Tangiers (Lucid Blue Gum Ball) I got some pretty thick smoke, but it wasn't too flavorful and the flavor it had wasn't "Blue Gum Ball" it smelled funky when I first opened it so I let it acclimate about 28 hours, then it smelled faintly of syrup-ie blueberry and tasted a little sour syrup-ie fruity. I'm going to be extra careful with my jet). With the glass phunnels the middle part of the phunnel is really low, in fact last night my base water turned yellowish from juice dripping over the lip under the scalli mod.
