freezerburn456
My shop used to sell them. Generally there was at least one fatal flaw with each of them. Some had extremely poor draws, others had major internal leaks, the water on all of them became unpleasant very fast.We did rig up a way to fix the water heating up. You cut the bottom off a coffee can and burn off all the paint. Then you fold it in half so there is a small air pocket between the layers. Then you either attach legs to it to stand it just under the base or you can even use a few pairs of tongs. It ends up acting like insulation for the base and significantly reduces the time for the base to heat up.
indian_villager
You really couldn't just buy a chess set and keep a hookah to the side while playing. Probably easier than having to reach down to rotate coals and such!
Giant Ninja Robot
I second Villager's opinion, looks super cool, but to me it would be more satisfying to have a good ol hookah at my side with a chess board. That sounds awesome right now. I've only played chess once but it was against a friend who had been playing for years and we ended in a stalemate. I could've won but made a rookie mistake and missed a checkmate. I don't wanna soil my record now Honestly if I were a serious chess player and those things worked well I'd consider it though, they do look very nice and classy.
