JillyIsJustKidding
Well, a few months ago, my Razan hose broke (from the handle) and I bought a new one since i don't have a hot glue gun or anything like that.I've been wanting a new hose, but I don't wanna dish out too much money so I thought "Why not fix that broken one?"I tried a while with plumbing glue..Pleh! It worked but the whole hose smelled like glue and it was beyond sickening. I had to take it apart and rip off that nasty glue.So...I have a question for Razan/Nammor hose users who have had this problem...I am thinking about buying a hot glue gun. But! My question is...Does the glue from the hot glue gun have any any odors or anything? I want a glue that is food safe and doesn't have any odor coming from it and I was thinking about using a hot glue gun. But, I don't wanna have a hose that has a glue like smell ever again. Thanks! SimplexCoda
i had to hot glue my nammor handle back on and it has been just fine. no order or anything. you just have to be careful and not string the glue everywhere.
zachslusser
hot glue has no odor what so ever and the hose where you need to glue shouldnt get hot. if it does then somethings wrong becuase my hose never gets hot.
bikeAholic
I definitely agree that you should try the hot glue out. I've got a mini hot glue gun that I use for many different DIY things and it has no odor and the glue isn't toxic. So, after you fix your Razan hose, you will probably find many things to use the glue gun for. :]

liquidglass
personally I wouldn't use a hot glue gun but that's just me, not because it's bad, just not my choice.BLACK ELECTRICAL TAPE is beautiful when you use it right on a seal like that, that or gorilla glue. I personally have used the black electrical tape to re enforce the plastic handle (the long handle part 12" or so) and then to seal all the joining parts. Black electrical take will NOT tape back The parts that are broken on my razan with an airtight seal. trust me, I've tried The actual handle has a long crack down it, which totally needs glue to seal. The mouth tip grommet came off and that needs glue as well
mattarios2
Either hot glue, or buy a damn KM hose and be done with it. I'm sick of these razan/nammor hoses falling apart, nice hose shitty quality if you ask me.Goodluck

But you're talking about the 12" long part of the handle right? Not the see through plastic part.BECAUSE, mine got a crack in the long part to, so what did I do? I took the wrapping off the outside and used electrical tape all the way down it, then replaced the wrapping. The handle is air tight and it's re enforced now. Damn and I need hot glue for my other razan as well since its starting to crack too *sigh*
JillyIsJustKidding
Alrighty, just ordered one for $9 SHIPPED and it included 30 sticks Can't wait to fix up these damn hoses
liquidglass
well since you only need one to two layers max of tape and rolls are about 48 cents or so on average so i'd say a roll per hose.
PatronHookah
You can do like i did, a easy good looking way to fix your hose. I do not like to get rust in my lungs, so i did a little mod to my hose as shown in the photo.
