However, when I come to this forum I'm hoping to see hookah related topics. Instead I have to filter through a bunch of threads about someone getting banned for not knowing the rules. I'm just saying there could be another way to go about this without cluttering up the forum. My 2 cents.you dont seem to be filtering through them at all, you did click on this one. besides theres only 4 topics on the first page. its not hard to "filter" through them

natgnat
Can you imagine if there was only a single thread dedicated to these bans? It'd break the internet!
SmokinMoose
I think its a good idea to put them under a different heading other than Hookah Discussion Area.
Canon
its always been this way and this is the place most people look. why would we put the messages somewhere where everyone does not look?

mushrat
A good point made..when people stop posting..this thread will disappear. And I liked him too...the hookah smoker in me doesnt always agree with the Admin me either. But we have rules, and we all have to follow them. Besides, you didn't see the pm's he sent to the mod that got him. Bel;ieve me folks, there is ALWAYS soemthing going on behind the scenes. If you will recall, this started with the standard you are an idiot for mentioning that ater all this time 5 day ban..and then the pm's started. So believe me when i say I really wouldn't mind never having to ban someone again. I could actually catch up on reading and answering in actual hookah posts. But it aint gonna happen. Canon
im with mush.. ALOT of the time i read someones post and i think "damn why the fuck did you have to say that" then i have to send them a PM telling them what they did wrong and take action (everything you do that is against the rules is logged on your profile).its not fun to ban people that you like. I have never found the mods to be unreasonable. Mush himself banned me early on when I accidently posted to a review screen (and yes it was an honest to goodness accident in a weird glitch that vanished my screen and it ended up in reviews for some reason never to be explained). I PM'd Mush, apologized for whatever the hell my computer had done, explained it and he lifted the ban. Why anyone would have tantrums and escalate the issue is beyond me. All it did to me was make me a little more careful about what my system was doing at any given time. Never a bad thing.'Rani
steeeeeeve
The mods on this site are pretty damn goodi made a mistake and apologized via pm, problem solved the only time things like this happen is when people instead of apologising start being rude and then they should get a perm ban lets be honest the mods do this job for free they dont deserve abuseive seen nazi forums and im a member of several, this is FAR from one of those and i cant see that changingas for temp bans.....beats a perm ban people should suck it up a bit and wait it out come back apologize and forget about iti personally want to thank the mods on this forum, something they dont get often enough.Steve
mattarios2
same here, I posted in the review section accidentally, when I noticed my mistake, I notified the mods and they gave me advice on what to do next time and no problems!
