krew944
alright, i dont know if this is right or not beacause as i heard ....mya has great hoses that last a very long time.... i purchase my first hookah from socialsmoke about one month and a half ago. i bought it with two hoses.... both those hoses were washable but 3 weeks pass by and one of those hose went bad...there was little particles coming up the hose everytime i inhale from the hose... as this happen i went to spencer to get a mya hose. just to let you all know i do wash my hose and it is kept quite well. recently my mya hose from spencer has been doing the same thing and i cannot figure out how to fix this problem.... i dont understand how this hose went bad so fast...can anyone tell me what happen? surfpico
Are you sure they were washable?Because the particles usually don't come about til around 6 months to a year of use (depending on how often you use the hose). But that is a feature of an unwashable hose or a old/used hose.Bring it back and cause a ruckus man. That sucks.-Hookah Heather-
krew944
im sure its a mya. it has the mya inscription and everyything...and many people had good experience from the mya hoses and bowls from spencers. it was definitely a washable one . thats the reason i bought it...so i dont know whats wrong with it...if anyone know please let me know. it could of been just a defect hose. im thinking about getting another and see if it happens again. thank for the reply
[LB]
try smacking the hose against the ground really hard- someone used this technique sorry to discredit anyonethis loosens the particles in the hose, then blow out really hard- there shouldnt be anything in a mya hose in the first place! unless you never wash it, or just leave it plugged in your hookah 24/7 and just pick it up and smokeyou hose should get a nice wet BJ before every smoke
pavlakos_politakos
hahaha...he said BJ...hahaha.any way that technique works.just double the hose up and whack it.....against the floor.it helps lot just blow.....into the sink so you dont get sh*t all over the place and yourself. yashman19
Great advice mentioned so far. I believe it was Mushrat that said he likes to wash his hoses with warm water with lemon juice in it. Just fill the hose, swirl the liquid around in it for a bit, then drain the hose. The take the hose outside and hold one end over your head swinging it around in a circular motion. Swing this real fast for a bit getting rid of most of the excess water. Then leave your hose hanging for a couple of hours to drip dry. After its dry, try smacking it against the wall (or ground), and blow any excess dirt/dust out. If its not good after that, then I think its time for a new hose Oh I forgot to mention, if you do clean it out with a lemon/water solution, don't try banging it against the wall or ground until its completely dry. You might have to wait a day or two to fully let it dry. But once its dry, the loose dust/dirt should be dry and easier to blow out. Its impossible to blow everything out if its still moist in the hose. Try some of these tips, it should help.
