HookahCaterpillar
I like CAO flavored cigars alot- moontrance, eileens dream, karma sutra splash, gold honey. I also like CAOs cameroon cigars has kind of a vanilla taste to it pretty good. If you couldn't tell by now my favorite brand of cigars are CAO if you havent smoked them before I highly suggest checkin em out.
PipeSmokeMcGee
Yeah, I'm not really a fan of the flavored stogies, but I have heard good things about the CAO flavored's. I hear that they are just lightly flavored and made from good tobaccos. Since flavored cigars have been traditionally cheap, the flavor exists to mask the unpleasant taste of the inferior tobacco. Don't quote me on this, but I think I remember seeing an article (or maybe even cover story) in Cigar Aficionado about the new rage of flavored, premium cigars. HookahDuck
Hah... ah the ignorant days.I decided to bring this thread back because i've become much more directed towards cigar smoking lately due to its lesser respiratory impact. The Aston cabinet VSG's are good, I've smoked 4 or 5 in Dbl. Corona's and Churchills, but I cant fall in love with them like many seem to. The mahogeny is just a bit too overpowering.I've absolutely fallen in love with the CAO Italia Gondola... Im strongly considering buying a box.I recently purchased a box of Sancho Panza Escudera Double Maduros, and a box of Arturo Fuente Fuente Chateaus Maduros. The Sancho's are easilly the best smoke for the price of any medium bodied double maduro IMO.Montecristo Tubo Especials(the same blend as the white) when I want a lighter smoke. I try to keep a few on hand.I'd like a box of Romeo y Juliette churchill Aversario's, but damn they are pricey. I may settle for the Maduro reserve which is nearly as good.La Gloria Cubana Serie R No. 8's are nice when im in the mood for a heavy smoke after a big meal.La Flor is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands(especially the Magnum factory press... ahhh....)Punch Rare Corojo rothchilds are a perfect day-to-day smoke, and rather cheap currently.I've had the pleasure of smoking 2 Fuente Fuente Opus X petite corona's. Wow. Just wow. If anyone has ever had one, you know what im talking about.I placed an order with famous for several single cigars that I've been wanting to try/heard about/were a good deal:Romeo Y Julieta Bully 1 SINGLE Natural 5 x 50 @ 4.25 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 4.25Vintage 1990 Toro &n bsp; 1 SINGLE Maduro 6 1/2 x 52 @ 7.50 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 7.50Sun Grown Fact 2nds Pet Corona 1 SINGLE Natural 4 1/2 X 44 @ 2.40 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 2.40Punch Rare Corojo Rothschild 3 SINGLE Natural 4 1/2 x 50 @ 2.95 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 8.85Punch Rothschild &n bsp; 1 SINGLE Maduro 4 1/2 x 50 @ 3.35 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 3.35Nat Brand Sun Grown Rothschild 1 SINGLE Natural 5 X 50 @ 2.30 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 2.30Super Fuerte Toro &n bsp; 1 SINGLE Maduro 6 X 52 @ 3.00 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 3.00Hoyo De Monterrey Tubos 1 SINGLE Natural 6 1/4 x 43 @ 4.05 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 4.05H Upmann Lonsdale &nbs p; 1 SINGLE Natural 6 5/8 x 42 @ 4.00 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 4.00Excalibur #6 &nbs p; 1 SINGLE Natural 5 1/2 x 38 @ 4.30 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 4.30Don Tomas Special Edition #300 1 SINGLE Natural 5 X 50 @ 3.00 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 3.00Torano Exodus 1959 Dble Corona 1 SINGLE Dark Nat 7 X 50 @ 4.00 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 4.00CAO Gold Double Corona 1 SINGLE Natural 7 1/2 X 54 @ 4.50 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 4.50Baccarat Double Corona 1 SINGLE Maduro 7 1/2 X 50 @ 3.95 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 3.95Avo #2 &nbs p; &nbs p; 1 SINGLE Natural 6 x 50 @ 7.00 &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; &n bsp; 7.00Hopefully they will be here in a few days.I'll be happy to note that while I appreciate them for getting me interested in premium tobacco, flavored cigars more or less disgust me. I've been doing most of my purchasing from Bestcigarprices and Famous, which both have lower prices than each other depending on what you are looking for.Anyone else have any new developments? If not, let this one die

Lakemonster
This is a typical view of the top of my humidor... I am a big fan of Joya de Nicaragua. I really enjoy Nicaraguan tobacco for cigars..... Padron being my absolute fav. Maduro's are prefered smoke.... but Connecticut wrapped are good now and then too. Believe it or not..... Sam's Club sells a line called Hampton Arms that are Nicaraguan and come in Churchills, Robustos and Coronas. They are what I smoke when I fear I might get seperation anxiety from smoking something "premium". Surprisingly good.
HookahDuck
Interesting on the sams club line. I'll check that out. Lol.Mmm... Padron 1964 Aniversary....I haven't tried Joya's before, I'll give them a shot as well. Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco are quickly becoming my favorites. Buford
The only cigar I have ever really liked is Romeo y Julieta Reserve Maduro churchhills. At $7 or so a stick, though, I can't justify buying them.
