An Interesting Thought To Paint Your Vase....

So I have been thinking about adding a design to my base for a while now, however I have always been looking for a reversible method this way if the design came out bad or I just don't want it anymore I am not stuck with what I had on before. I was always thinking using paint and only paint.
Than I read this thread http://www.hookahforum.com/?showtopic=25322 ....and I got to thinking...what about the stuff they use on windshields for advertisements? At first I thought it was paint but now I have realized that it is actually perforated vynl....Here is a link with a pic that explains the advertisement I am talking about:

Any what are your thoughts about using perforated vynil instead of paint?
