Painful Headache While Smoking.

I've been smoking hookah for 1-2 months now, the only time I ever had a headache this bad was my first hour+ session. Now that I purchased a KM I've only been smoking AF and in no longer than 30 minutes my head feels like its going to explode, before i was smoking fantasia out of a 18 inch no name hookah. Any recommendations to stop this, or is there a reason like me being a rookie that this happens? I always make sure to eat before a session.

What type of bowl and coals are you using?

Also how many people are you smoking with?

Are you drinking any water while you're smoking ? If not, start doing that. Little sips here and there, doesn't need to be a lot. Sometimes light snacking is good as well. My wife and I like dry Cheerios sometimes when we smoke, and it can help in not feeling sick.

Are you smoking alone ? I know when I smoke solo, it's easy to smoke more. However, just take a few minutes to make certain you're getting some fresh air, and purge the stale smoke as needed.

Regardless of whether you're smoking solo or not, be certain to set the hose down and take a few minutes here and there, especially if you tend to take bigger pulls.

Coal type can be a big factor as well. Use some good natural coals like Exoticas or Coconaras.

I got that when I first started using hoses with larger ID's. You'll get used to it, and after a few smokes you'll be totally fine.

Thanks for the feedback most the time I'll have some water with me, I'm using exoticas on a vortex bowl.

have you washed the hookah before you started to use it (since you said you just got it)

do you have ventilation where are lighting up your exoticas?

Don't use Ql coals, you had carbon monoxide poisoning. Natural coals when mostly pure never cause this problem no matter how many bowls you smoke. QL's always cause this problem, quicker or slower depending on brand.
