steeeeeeve
my mya is only a QT and it smokes amazingly.... i can imagine a larger mya will stand up EASILY to any nour mz km or any other big name brand and the looks of the obelisk are stunningif it wasnt so pricey i would have had REAL trouble deciding on the hookah i bought on those looks alone.... its just uniquefrom what i have experienced with my QT and what i have read the falldown with myas is they dont quite purge as well as some egyptian brands but it all depends on how much you value the purge.... i know some people dont purge very often and others purge almost every time they pullSteve
newjacksm
Loved the obelisk but main reason why I never picked it up is because its almost 225. Main reason why I went with a KM.
Hojo
If and when I do buy a new hookah, it will most certainly be an Obelisk. From the very beginning, it has caught my eye, but it was WAY out of my budget. Maybe with Christmas money and next semester's financial aid check... That's definitely a good point too.If you're gonna drop 225, it better be quality and last.
joelhookah
Whatever, I am getting a 4 hose obelisk here soon. My roommate is newly single and we need a nice little party piece. $240 is deep, but I figure for a multi-hose, autoseal rocks and might as well buy quality. Heard good things about it. Apets22
Own it, Love it.I think if you break a base, it doesnt really matter what glass it was made out of its still glass.I did break my obelisk base (well my drunk retarded asshole friend did), but it was dropped from about 4 feet onto a concrete surface, and the drop would have more then likely broken anythingI get compliments on the looks every place I take it, it smokes amazing. Add a razan (Or a KM I guess) hose, and a phunnel and you will have a fantastic sessions all the time.EDIT: I also read a study some where, that no matter how functional it is, if you think its ugly, you wont like it as much. And thats the number 1 cause of buyers remorse. And considering it is extremely sexy and functional, you will not regret this buy! The Obelisk's stem takes the cake though.-QM
