atticus
So guys, I recently purchased small chinese funnel off of HC, because despite all the rah-rah about supporting the original, I had heard decent things about them and I really wanted a funnel to use for solo sessions. Since my living situation keeps me from smoking indoors, I pretty much can only smoke outside, which pretty much limits me to whatever quicklights I can get, goldens and 3 Kings. I do want to try the new quicklight naturals with the controversial name, though. But anyway, I can't seem to get the heat right. I get either too weak flavor and clouds, or burned shisha. I feel like my packing hasn't changed, and it doesn't seem to be a flavor, or brand issue either. What type of coal set up would you guys suggest? Help! Hippo_Master
Windcovers and phunnels are soul mates. I always use one with any of my phunnels. I just usually use 2 Coconut Coals since they always come in some sort of cube or rectangular solid. Ql are best split in half, unless they are coconut! Make sure you have enough holes in the foil as well. If there isn't enough holes, the inhale will be tight especially on a phunnel and the tobacco will burn quicker but you will get terrible smoke (based on airflow) Edited October 8, 2008 by Hippo_Master
