Best Coals. Best Shisha

Recommended Posts

I have only tried Mint Apple and Watermelon.
the mint tasted baaaaaad because when I got it it was opened already (mint and apple came free with the hookah)
the apple was good but i like sweeter things
and the watermelon tasted good but not something I'd buy.
The coals I have came free with the hookah and they make me get light headed (I can't walk after the whole bowl) and I think they make the flavor a little gross.

I need to know, what the best coals are and what (in your opinion) is the best flavor?

Thanks everybody!

COCOBRICOs (suck on that, Coco Nara fans) + Tangiers (K-Peach), Nakhla (Double Apple), Al Fakher (Apple Eskandarini)

How would I suck something that I have never seen nor heard of before? Its just not possible.

That name for coals is almost too funny lol..COCO BRICCOOOOO

Honestly, I'll have to go with naturals and Nakhla. I love all of Nakhla's flavors, it gives great buzz, great smoke... it's consistent, and to make it all better it's cheap as well. Natural coals have the nicest ash, and generally are the best coals for the buck IMO, although I do want to try coconut coals (the cheaper ones, naturally.)

Edited with pics. Don't know how to get them in the US, but for those of you living in the Europe, they can be bought here.

I should say that I love the Coco Naras too. But the Bricos are way cheaper, burn a little longer (in my experience), and you don't have to flip them as often. I know they've been mentioned here before, so I guess other people have tried them as well.

Definitely get yourself some better and natural coals, like Coconaras, Exoticas, or Belgians.

I'd stay away from Tangiers shisha until you have more hookah experience.

Some good flavors to start are:

Starbuzz: Blue Mist, White Peach
Al Fakher: Mint, Peach, Watermelon, Plum
Layalina: Esk. Apple, Raspberry, Mango, Jasmine

best coals: golden canary japanese coals.
best tobacco: Tangiers (my fave is K-Cherry)

the golden canaries are going to be unavailable until next year sometime, so i'm going to start looking for something else. i might give the coco's a try, since everyone suggests them. Edited by Dom

I'm using these as we speak. No experience with coco nara but these burn flavourlessly, a very long time and are 3.50 euro for a box of i think 64 pieces, not sure. I only need two at a time and add a third after 1.5 hours for a 2.5 hour session. I never looked back after trying these.

I'm going to go out of the way and tell you guys that the market is always changing but the best right now to me after trying everything was Tonic shisha with Exotica Easy-Lite Charcoals, with a Funnel bowl. Great smoke, amazing flavor, and no harshness. Still trying out a lot more combos with different brands and charcoals but as for right now this is the one.
