i want to know how many people actually use a scalli?

i think my scalli is a waste of space as far as smoking goes, but it makes a cool card marker for poker...

My thoughts exactly. Does nothing but save shisha, which isnt really a huge issue for me.

It saves shisha, it just depends on how much time I have to smoke, i think it smokes better without it though

Wish I had bought a glass screen instead...
In my limited experience it does save a bit of shisha, but kills the flavor. So what´s the point?

By the way, I really don't understand why we have to resort to the mod to use less shisha... I mean, if there was an x-small phunnel available, I'm sure that many people would buy that in a heartbeat for quick solo sessions Edited October 12, 2008 by erufiku

I always got thick flavorful smoke while using one. The only time I don't is when I load up tangiers!

The scalli mod distributes heat more evenly, which means that you're going to get thicker, smoother smoke. It isn't rocket science.

i got a scali and have been disappointed with it, it makes the flavor stronger a touch but dries it out much faster. for some tobaccos it seemed to just make it taste totally sweet and no flavor just sugar (i think it was with AF and/or strarbuzz bluemyst)

honestly ive kind of given up on using my phunnel over all in favor of my mod bowl, even for tangiers just because i dont want to smoke one flavor for 3-4 hours by my self

I had one and I used to use it. Then I lost it and stopped using it. Made no difference. Just didn't have to clean a piece of glass after.

For you newer members...do you guys know the origin of the scalli mod? Don't have one and don't really plan on buying one BTW. I have like 6 bowls total (phunnel, super chief, mya, original tangiers, 2 egyptians) so my phunnel is exclusively used for tangiers therefore no need in buying the mod. Scalli himself ftw!

If I did smoke non-tangiers and loaded it into a phunnel, I would use the mod to save some shisha.

Tangiers all da way, no need for mods.
