doshaburi
So I got my hookah stem from hookahhookah.com the other day (sahara stem) and there are two very tiny holes in part of the stem. (i attached a photo) they appear to be corrosion but they go all the way through the desorative part to the main stem. smoke does escape through them when we smoke. Can someone tell me if this is supposed to happen or not?TY!
AKammenzind
No, that's not supposed to happen. New one to me... if it's a small hole (can't tell from the pic), then you could just solder it shut, and problem solved.
Codename067
I cant see a damn thing, but a hole in the stem is definitely not a good sign.
Hojo
Before soldering it, you might want to check with the vendor to see if they will replace it (and, if they are reputable at all, they will).
doshaburi
Thank you, sorry about the shoddy pic, you can see the two black spots (holes) but i wasnt really paying attention. Anyway i ordered it from hookahhookah.com seemed the most legit so we shall see
LiveRadical
I don't know hookahcompany won't replace anything if you use it. Atleast that's what the paper that came with my hookah said.

Capt. Morgan
Why would you need to send in the base and hose too? If you've used it, just clean the hell out of the stem and send it back in.

Hojo
When you contact them, make sure to say that you noticed the holes, and when you blew through it you felt air. With that story, you haven't used it.
erufiku
I don't get that BS policy... I mean, they shipped you a defective product that you've used once or twice due to your inexperience. In my opinion a good retailer should send a replacement no questions asked. I mean, it's not like they'd be able to sell it anyway (I'm pretty sure that repairs would cost more than the wholesale price they pay). Let us know what they tell you... Let us know what they tell you...Well, the "unused" policy may be for returns only, as in, you don't want the hookah at all. I think that they would step up if it was genuinely a defective product and replace it no questions asked. Of course, this is just if I were running things (and really, I should), and Hookah Company may think differently. I've bugged the piss out of them with questions before, and they are really nice, patient people, so I don't think you should have a problem.
