joelhookah
Engrish.com is hilarious. The translations arent always quite so literal but they are always good for a chuckle.

Ralleac
QUOTE (billy @ Oct 13 2008, 01:13 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I bet most of the stuff are photoshop edits...¬¬While I was in a China there was a sign that said "Please crush wildlife" at one of the places I visited outside of Xi'an. There were a lot of poorly translated signs all over Beijing, Shanghai, and Kunshan as well. My sister ordered a "Potato Pancake" on the menu at a Japanese style restaurant on the bottom floor of the Broadway Mansion in Shanghai and she received a teapot filled with seafood soup. When she complained the waitress pointed at it and called it a potato pancake.

My friend taught English in China for a while and took a ton of pictures of terrible yet funny English translations. I'll see if I can get him to send me some for this thread. Kathrynx
You have no idea how many times we see signs just like those on a daily basis here in Japan. Its quite entertaining.Just because its almost the same topic here is my husbands favorite joke he learned while on the island:http://imgdump.info/img-asian-ghostbuster-36167.htm
