ahwahoo2006
With any new pipe there will be a trial and error phase - you can't expect it to be the same right away. Try adjusting the water level, shisha level in the bowl, and number and size of holes in the foil. Also, make sure you check your hose for leaks. uzzy_00
yes i checked if the hose was working fine or not, you blow air from one end and just put a thumb on the other side..ye ahwahoo i might get my phunnel bowl in tonight 2 .. i am gonna set that up on the km and see if it makes a difference or what not
Codename067
To check if the hose is leaking..put the hose on the hookah..take your thumb and place it on top of the stem and try to take a hit. If water bubbles, you got a leak, and if not, then you are ok.Getting back to topic:Try packing you bowl differently. Perhaps you need to try a new method of packing. The Phunnel should solve this problem =]
Wharbone
QUOTE (uzzy_00 @ Oct 14 2008, 11:10 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>hello allI got my km Mashal this weekend, i set it up the way i would set up my mya qt...the smoke wasnt dense and minor flavor once again, i just wanted to know how much amount of water should be put in the base, the base as of now is like 1 inch in the water could adding more make a difference or somethingI put my stem about an inch into the water. If your smoke isn't dense, you probably have a leak somewhere. A lot of times, this leak is from the purge valve being stuck in the open position. Do like codename said and check for leaks by setting up your hookah like normal, plug the top hole where you would normally put the bowl. If you get any bubbles (or any air being sucked through) when you suck through the hose, you have a leak. You are using a hose grommet right? The last person I heard about with this problem was not using a hose grommet and that is what was causing his leak.

If you can suck any air in while having your thumb block the top of the stem, that means you have a leak. Check the hose first: plug one end with your thumb, if you can suck any air in - there's your problem. To check the stem itself, plug the bottom end with your thumb and try through the top of the stem. It might also have something to do with your ports...
