Talking about nice rides... I spot an exotic every day while walking to school (Rue Sherbrooke in Montreal): Lamborghini, Bentleys, Aston Martins. Then again it's the street with all the boutiques and Montreal's Ritz ohmy.gif Talk about a motivating stroll:D

I like tinyurl... Both because you dunno where it goes, and it shortens the url=)
trust the world

Sorry I am a network admin, half my day is spent yelling at people for clicking on stuff they don't know what it is and infecting my network, taking me from a nice easy day to 3 days of mumbling and cussing under my breath while i check every server and PC on my network, across all our offices.

No worries, you know you're right, these redirects are dangerous. But I reckon people trust me, since I have some age, history and posts. Anyone posting malicious crud will get banned fast, so we have a good system here that keeps us safe.
On a side note, many sites now offer to translate the link name, usually the site that makes the short url as well.
I just like short urls.

neither the CTS-V nor the C63 can even come close to keeping up with the GTR, if you said C6 Z06 or ZR1 then id accept it..but those two cars arent close to the performance especially in track racing to the GTR.

F*** the gtr.
If I'm paying 70k+ I want it don't want to have to pay 20k for each transmission I blow through.... C63 or CTS-V > GTR IMO in both looks and buy-ability....

C63 for sure, you cant beat german engineering (yes thats right people a jew saying germany makes the best cars, mercedes none the less)

Too bad the gps based limiter won't allow you to do shit unless you are on a track
And from what I understand they are having tranny issues therefore GTR= Get Tranny Repaired

im pretty sure that the limiter is only for the japan-spec GTR's because they have much stricter traffic laws.

Not true from my understanding, they still have designated tracks here in the states and the warranty laws still apply for over certain mph limits.

The gtr was king of the nurburgring until it was topped by the corvette ZR1. Which was then topped by the Viper ACR! Those american cars can move. They are not my favorite cars but I do give respect where it is due!

Just a realization: Why are we talking about cars we either a. cant have, b. dont have, c. cant afford to have, d. wouldnt know what to do with it if we did have it, or even e. couldnt do anything with it if we did have it? The only places in America where you can really open up your car to see what it's got are race tracks. If you got the money, ship it to Germany and open it up. But here, it'll get you a fat ass ticket and none of us want that. Maybe it's worth it, but for me or anyone I know, it sure aint.

  • 2 weeks later...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Maserati-20...%3A1|240%3A1308

one of my all time favs that isn't insanely expensive, decent miles, and NO ONE has them.

as for the tickets. radar detector... $300, police scanner... $120, cb and two-ways... $150, basically never having to worry about cops... oh so worth it. And that may be a bit of an overkill. It's different for different places. I'm in CA now so there's an unlimited supply of cops. No matter how big the disaster, there can always be another one lurking around the corner. But when I go home to Maine, if someones house is on fire, big car wreck, etc. every cop within 15-20 miles is there because there won't much anything exciting like that for a very long time. It also provides the perfect opportunity for top speed runs. Which I never tried... just heard about... wink.gif

No one has them?
I see at least 2-3 a week.

Also, the GTR could be great on a track.... but too bad it has a black box that tells nissan everything you do and they can easily void your warranty on bullshit. You can't turn off traction control.
You have to use designated tracks, afterwords getting a full inspection at a nissan dealer that costs $1-2k (I believe) or face having your warranty void.... oh yeah, awesome.

If you're someone with the money to burn, go for it.
I'll stick with a practical daily driver with some balls that I can mod freely.

Oh, Nissan wont let you change your RIMS on the GTR smile.gif
