ChexPex
Hey guys im wondering if there is anyway i can just get thicker smoke from what i already have... this is my set up... any suggestions would be great thanks!!! Im gonna make an order so i want to make it top of the topShisha:AF MintStarbuzz Citrus Mist (And some others... any suggestions i think these produce the best thickest smoke? but im welcome to any others i want to try out)Hookah:KM Tri MetalI make sure all the waters is out before i stick the base and the stem in the freezer for about 15-30 minutesI do use ice.. and i add about 6 oz of milk...Hose:NammorI use a small funnel bowl... i do poke holes all around and either 3 exoticas in a triangle which i rotate about every 5 or so minutes... or 2 KM quicklights which i add about another half a coal later and switch to a triangle formation...Basically im trying to get the best thickest... long longesting last smoke as possible... Any suggestions to make it any better at all? Possible hole formations.. heat management.. i tried the hole formation at the beginners guide.. but it seems like the pull is pretty hard because there is not enough shisha warming up...Like i said any suggestions on products to buy.... etc im going to make a shipment about 50 bucks worth of products so any help would be great thanks!! ChexPex
why take out the ice and milk?
modisess
QUOTE (ChexPex @ Oct 20 2008, 03:27 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>why take out the ice and milk?IMHO, i don't think those two really contribute much to making the smoke thicker. Do you have thick and luscious clouds of smoke already? If you do, then I don't see the point why would want thicker smoke than what you already have. But if you are trying to experiment, you pretty much have your equipments set. Probably a different packing method of different brands of tobacco will do. Also, different coals.P.S. There are KM quicklites?

Guest DJ_HOSSEIX
pack your bowl right and heat management. As mentioned above i would ditch the milk, imo it doesn't contribute to smoke density (or as far as the sessions ive had with milk in the base). If you are packing AF in a phunnel and have questions on that there is a video on youtube that will guide you

ToncSTAR
i think you just have to set up perfectly. not YOU personally, just people in general. When me and one of my friends smoke, i can get just as much if not more than him using my MYA bambino knockoff, with a standard egyptian bowl, 3k ql's, and a razan hose, with him using a 1 hose MYA Acrylic, Razan/Nammor hose (i dont know which one he has), and 3k ql's.Our regular shisha we use is SB and HH. Fantasia/AF when we can get our hands on it, since there are no local shops down here that sell AF and Fantasia.
Bulldog_916
Set it up right and the clouds will come. Switch to naturals though, that's the only thing I see with what you're doing. All of the QLs I've tried dont tend to put out nearly as much heat as naturals do. You will thank yourself when you take a big hit with good coals.
