Ok So This One Time With Dry Ice...

My girlfriend and I decided to have some fun with dry ice, water, and water bottles. So we made the first bomb and it was awesome. The second I accidently used cold water, so it just inflated and looked like a football for a bit. I came up to it and was playing around with it when I had a cool idea. Cough cough. Cool. I took the hammer in my hand and balanced the dry ice bomb between two slabs of cement on the side walk and was measuring my distance to smash it. I pulled back, and swung with all my force. Now, I'm a carpenter. Lots of hammer knowledge. Even a little MC Hammer knowledge. I get about a half inch away from the bottle with the face of the hammer when it EXPLODES. BAM!!! Water drenches me, my girlfriend is rolling on the ground laughing, and I'm speechless. We had to run inside before the cops came, and we were both giggling and laughing for about a half hour non-stop.

Jail? Whats the big deal, its freakin water and dry ice in a bottle, it's not going to hurt anyone at all... Now the Howitzer that's sitting out on a close friend's ranch that we used to destroy an old barn on the property might be cause to go to jail, but a water bottle?

No, no. It has to be a soda bottle. Since soda is carbonated they make the plastic a lot stronger so it builds up a ton of pressure. when it releases it could easily have enough force to tear something off if you were too close to it. Also, if you have barns theres probably enough distance between you and your neighbors for nobody to care.
